Disclaimer: Any scoring information mentioned below is unofficial, as I do not have access to the official gamesheets. If you have read some of my other blog entries you may be aware that I have some visual impairment from LASIK surgery performed a few years ago that did not provide the intended result of improved vision, so any scoring summaries may be inaccurate or incomplete, but I am more than willing to edit my posts if supplied with the correct information.

Further, the accounts of each game are written from my personal perspective and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of any team official or parent from any of the respective teams or associations mentioned. I do not claim to be completely impartial, as I do live in Welland and cheer for the home teams and players, however, since I do not have any relatives or close friends on any of the teams at this time, I try to be as fair as one can.

If there are parents from other centres reading these posts, and you feel your players deserve special mention in my reports (for example, they record a hat-trick or shut-out against one of our Welland teams and I fail to acknowledge them), please feel free to submit their information to me via e-mail jdisher@cogeco.ca and I will consider it for inclusion (or alternatively, simply add your information as a comment to my blog posting for all to see).
