The Welland Wine & Supplies Tigers were simply too strong on this evening for the visiting Grimsby Vik’s Meats Peach Kings in Niagara District Midget Local League playoff action, handing them a 7-0 defeat.

Helpers on the evening were contributed by Ovenden with three, Martins and #3 Brett Lydiatt each with two, #8 Cameron Brousseau, Varga, Davoli, Brandon Griffin, #17 Darren Coulter, and Walton with one apiece.
#30 Aaron Tardif recorded the shutout victory in the Welland crease, while #1 Brayden Vicq was hung with the loss for Grimsby. The Peach Kings were 0-for-5 with the power-play, while Welland was more successful at 1-for-3 on the night.
