After playing to a 1-3 record during the round-robin portion of the tournament, the Welland Shoppers Drug Mart Tigers found their groove to capture the title at the Limestone Tournament held in Kingston recently.  The Tigers opened the tournament with a win against Ajax before falling 4-2 to Quinte, 5-4 to Ottawa Valley and 4-3 to Kingston in its next three round-robin contests.  #1 Jovi Clarke stoned Ottawa Valley during their second meeting, allowing the Tigers to advance to the championship game with a 2-0 victory.  The Tigers would then carry the momentum over and defeat the Seaway Rapids by a score of 4-3 in the final game to capture the tournament championship trophy.
