The Welland Bob Robinson & Son Construction Tigers competed in their second tournament in as many weeks, compiling a 2-2 record in the round-robin portion of the Grimsby Boston Pizza Classic.  Welland opened with a 6-1 victory over St. Catharines thanks to a two-goal offensive output from #14 Janson Lapalme and single put-ins by #19 Nathan Anderson, #9 Kyle Patterson, #15 Kurtis Borgatti and #2 Parker Hayward.  The Tigers followed up by shutting out Mentor, OH 2-0 in their next contest, with #30 Maverick Petrachenko earning the whitewash and #12 Jacob Duguay and Anderson providing all the offense he needed.  Cambridge would triple the Tigers in their next tilt 6-2, with #17 Adam Barron and Hayward each lighting the lamp in the losing cause.  Welland finished the tournament with a 3-0 loss to the Barrie Colts.

The Tigers now return to regular-season competition with games on three consecutive nights, facing Pelham and Fort Erie at home on Friday and Saturday before heading to the Honeymoon City to battle the Thunder on Sunday afternoon.  Welland holds a 13-3-3 record in divisional play this season.
