Welland Harpwood’s Trophies Tigers vs. Brampton Battalion

The Brampton Battalion defeated the Welland Harpwood’s Trophies Tigers by a 5-2 score in Novice AAA action in Brampton on the weekend.  This is the second time this season that the Tigers have dropped a decision to the Battalion, who current sit in third place at 15-5-2.  The Tigers, on the other hand, are in fifth place in the standings with a 8-10-3 record.  Welland hosts the Niagara Falls Thunder in their next contest to be played in Welland on Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers are coming off an impressive showing at the 30th Annual Vic Teal Tournament, which saw them reel off five consecutive victories before losing in the championship game.
