The Welland Harpwood’s Trophies Tigers traveled to the Honeymoon City to take on the Niagara Falls Thunder Friday evening. The Tigers walked away with a 6-3 victory on the strength of goals by #5 Lucas Thorne, #4 Nicholas Villella, #8 Nick Volpatti, #2 Jesse Burger, #16 Noah Blakely and #9 Ben Fox. Assists were garnered by Thorne with two, and Villella, Volpatti, Burger, #12 Justin Menard and #14 Keynen Lynett each with one. The win improves the Tigers to 2-3-1 heading into Saturday afternoon’s tilt against the Thunder at home in Welland.
