Brampton Milton Chrysler Battalion vs. Welland Shoppers Drug Mart Tigers

The visiting Brampton Milton Chrysler Battalion defeated the Welland Shoppers Drug Mart Tigers in a very tightly played 3-0 victory on Sunday afternoon at the Welland Youth Arena.  Despite being held off the scoresheet the Tigers showed a lot of jump in today’s game and just could not solve Battalion netminder #30 Belanger.  #11 Brycen Thoms had a great chance with 1:46 left to play, walking in alone on a breakaway but was stoned on the play by a great stop.  The Battalion scored goals in each of the periods, including an empty-net goal with 1:27 remaining to skate off with the victory.  #1 Jovi Clarke for the Tigers played well in the loss.
