Guelph Powerplay Tournament, November 23-25, 2007

The Welland MT Bellies Tigers traveled to Guelph to play in this weekend’s Powerplay tournament.  The Tigers faced a very challenging round-robin schedule, shutting out the Ajax Knights 1-0 in their first game of the tournament before facing the two eventual tournament finalists, the Valley East Rebels and the Belleville Jr. Bulls, in their next two round-robin matches.  The Tigers lost to Valley East 5-1 before bowing out of the tournament with a 6-2 loss to Belleville.

The MT Bellies Tigers will return to the ice in regular season action at home versus the Fort Erie Meteors on Saturday December 1 at 2:40pm.
